Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area

Very new and clean hotel, looks fantastic. It's great overall and most of the complaints are minor

The hotel is clean, posh, and welcoming. The location is in the heart of downtown New Haven. The room was comfortable and well air-conditioned (there was a heat wave during my visit). There is a small greenspace and the parking structure is immediately next to the hotel. The hotel also communicated effectively with me before my arrival.

I came here because I had day surgery the next day at Yale-New Haven hospital, two blocks from this hotel. The staff was accommodating, the room was absolutely spotless and comfortable (yes, I always check for bedbugs) and the value for what I paid was awesome.

it was convenient to the places I needed/wanted to get to, the room was clean, modern and the space was used to its best advantage.

The breakfast and dinner menus had a good variety from which to choose. The food was good. The hotel was incredibly clean. The bed was wonderful. I had to spend an entire week there for work, and I looked forward to coming back in the evening, grabbing a bite and going to my room to enjoy it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!
